Reinforcing rebar is installed in every poured foundation, vertically and horizontally. Rebar can be non-existent with block foundations. Joint free construction drastically reduces basement water issues. Water-tight poured foundations have no core to allow mold, moisture, or mildew to live. They also have less callbacks for building and owners, and are maintenance free.
